The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has on Friday pledged N10 million as grant for any film shot in the state as part of efforts to develop and promote tourism. A statement signed by Mr Brian Etuk, the Head of Public Affairs, NFC, in Jos on Friday, quoted the governor as saying that the production `should be 100 per cent shot in Abia.’ The statement said that the governor charged film practitioners to improve on the quality of their production so as to compete with the global market.
